Dr. Malika Ladak completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College in the spring of 2020. Prior to this, she completed her Honours B.Sc. in Zoology at the University of Guelph. Originally from Thornhill, Ontario, Malika always had an interest in animals and science. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, she previously volunteered and worked at the Toronto Wildlife Centre, the Toronto Zoo, and several small animal veterinary practices. She practiced in Brockville, Ontario after graduation, and is happy to be back in the city! Dr. Ladak also currently volunteers her time at the Toronto Wildlife Centre as a volunteer veterinarian.
Dr. Ladak strives to make every veterinary visit a personalized and comprehensive experience, along with her lovable personality. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys baking, meditation and yoga, keeping physically active, and travelling. One of her life goals is to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania! Dr. Ladak is very excited to meet you all and looks forward to developing strong relationships with both you and your beloved pets.
