Hi, I'm Dr. Donal! I'm originally from Dublin, Ireland, and graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest in 2022. Since then, I've spent the past four years working in busy small animal practices across the UK, where I've developed a strong foundation in general practice and enjoyed caring for a wide variety of patients.
I'm excited to have made the move to Canada and to be a part of the Wellesley team! I will be working under a restricted license until I pass my final exam to acquire a full license in Canada. In relation to my interests in veterinary medicine, one of the things I love most is that every day is different. My interests include diagnostic imaging and surgery, but I also really enjoy getting to know people and their pets.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active whether it's going to the gym, running, yoga, playing rugby, or hiking. As this is my first time living in North America, I'm looking forward to discovering more of Canada and travelling further afield in my spare time.
